I’ve been obsessed with tiny houses, vans, and of course skoolies for a while now. Love instagram. Maybe I have to much time for my mind to run now that I’m not elbow on the bar at the pub half the week. So I bought this book, SKOOLIE! HOW TO CONVERT A SCHOOL BUS OR VAN INTO A TINY HOME OR RECREATIONAL VEHICLE, an excellent resource full of useful information. But I came to the realization that a Skoolie would mean I had to drive all the time. So in order to split driving time, or at least make it possible for my wife to willingly drive I’ve changed my thinking. I’m now full time studying THE VAN LIFE-CONVERTING A VAN. The same concept simply on a smaller scale.
Since we have an opportunity to work while on the road, remotely, for at least part of the year. We are fortunate that our work place and schedules are permanently changed, by choice and in a very positive way. This pandemic is pushing or allowing us to take the leap and while we are taking it slow and steady- we’re looking forward to some time on the road. Of course the pandemic is interfering with that part, so hopefully by the time we are ready. When we have a van decked out and ready for the road, we will be able to travel.
