winter is near so- northface Beanies

Here in the U.S. a beanie is a head-hugging brimless cap or hat. Now it may have been, some time ago, made from triangular panels of material joined by a button at the top. Today they are commonly made of cloth or felt material, but beanies can also be made from leather or silk. In some parts of the US, where I’m from, the term “beanie” refers to a knitted cap, often woollen. What I grew up calling a winter hat. So WINTER IS NEAR SO- NORTHFACE BEANIES are available. Winter is near, not coming- can you say “winter is coming” without a copyright infringement anymore? Loved that show. Like everyone else I was very disappointed in the last season and am really looking forward to the new spinoff.

Really the beanie is a large skullcap that has been traditionally associated with blue collar laborers. Better than caps with large brims that could block vision or catch on something. Though beanies do sometimes have a very small brim, less than an inch deep, around the brow front. Anyhow, I grew up shanty Irish, we wore beanies- beanies are now “cool” check some out.

prefer a cap

I keep a cap in my jeep, attached to each of my packs, and more than a few around the house. Like packs, knives, wallets, and watches, a good cap is an essential part of your EDC. This MEN’S FOREVER WEATHERED CAP is a great addition to your collection and an excellent go to cap. Caps are more than a fashion statement. I worked outside for years, a good hat helps protect your face or neck from the the sun. If you are a person with sensitive skin and even if you are not, you want to avoid excessive burn. I throw one on when ever I hit the trail, the river, or even the yard. Not just for protection but when I know I’ll be a mess, especially if I’m getting in some exercise before the shower.
